LUCY Security announces the inaugural Annual User Conference and Cyber Prevention Summit

The LUCY CONNECT offers presentations from industry-leading personalities, a keynote by Security experts from Robert Bosch GmBh, thus contributing to the latest IT security trends, and promoting the active exchange of experience among the attendees.

Thalwil (Zurich), September 06, 2017 – LUCY Security, a global provider of cyber prevention products and anti-phishing solutions for all company sizes, has announced the registration to her inaugural LUCY User Group conference and cyber prevention summit. This first-of-its-kind event, is taking place during the IT security (it-sa) exhibition, on October 10th, in Nuremberg Germany. It will bring together industry experts with cyber penetration testing experienced front line LUCY users, who will discuss and share their cyber prevention and phishing defense strategies. Featured speakers will include Patrick Zeller; Enterprise Security; Robert Bosch LLC, as the opening keynote speaker, along with LUCYs Founders and other speakers from very large enterprises.

“LUCY CONNECT will bring our community together and make it even stronger than it already is,” said Palo Stacho, Co-Founder of LUCY. “There is a big community out there with over 3500 running installations and more than 150 paying customers. We want to promote direct experience security awareness trainings sharing, peer based learning and to give our users the opportunity to actively participate in the further development of the LUCY software. We are keeping the event open to all LUCY users, partners and affiliates, since the entire community can benefit from this information, and help to educate others on the best practices and lessons learned, based on real-life scenarios.”

Being open to both LUCY users and Certified Eco System Partners, LUCY CONNECT will give attendees the opportunity to learn from industry experts, while networking with peers from all over the world. It will offer two keynotes, followed by a field report of a very large customer and moderated workshops in order to share “how-to” tips, and to place requests for development. The sessions will also cover best practices on the most current and important aspects of cyber prevention and IT-security awareness, including the latest possibilities of phishing, malware and ransomware simulations, incident response possibilities, behavioral threat analysis, malware analysis, etc.

“Phishing is still the biggest cyberspace threat, as such, it is important that the industry gets together and discusses the latest trends and defense strategies“, said Thomas Zeller, CEO of the German BWG Systemhaus Group and sponsor of the first LUCY CONNECT conference. “I’m happy to bring the LUCY User Group forward and to strengthen the user base of security professionals at the LUCY CONNECT summit.”

Registration for the LUCY CONNECT Cyber Prevention Summit and User Conference is open until October 6th. Those interested in submitting a speaker proposal can send an abstract to the LUCY Connect website: https://goo.gl/Yyd77J
